Ingrediants: Sago (Sabudana), Crushed Groundnuts, Sugar, Desi Ghee, Salt, Green Chilli, Cumin Seeds etc. How to use:
1) Mix the entire Sabudana Khichadi Ready-Mix with 150 ml of warm water (Mix 1½ cup of contents with 1 cup of warm water).
2) Soak it for 5 minutes, stir the contents well and cover it. Keep aside for 1.5 hours.
3) Pour 2-3 tbsp of ghee in a fry pan and add the mixture to it. Allow it to cook on a low flame while stirring gently, cover it for a while (do not cover the Khichadi for a long time as it can make it sticky).
For Microwave : Follow steps 1 & 2 as above. Add 2 tbsp ghee to the Ready-Mix & cook in a microwave for 2 mins, stir well & again cook in microwave for 2 mins.

    Origins: Sabudana or tapioca- a starch is extracted from sago palm stems or cassava plant. Generally, during fasts it’s allowed to eat non-grain food and so the Sabudana khichadi is a revered food during fasting. According to Ayurveda, it is believed that sago porridge can be effective to treat excess bile as it provides cooling effect to maintain body’s heat.
    Snack for anytime:
    Sabudana gives instant energy due to the content of carbohydrates to a large extent and little protein. Moreover, Sabudana khichadi is a complete meal by itself.
