Sambar
Ingrediants: Split Red Gram, Edible Sunflower Oil, Sugar, Salt, Curry Leaves, Asafoetida, Mustard Seeds, Turmeric & Other Spices & Condiments etc.
How to use:
1) Take water six times the volume of Sambar Ready-Mix packet, boil it and add the packet content. (1 readymix add 6X water)
2) Bring to boil on medium flame for 10-15 mins, stir occasionally till it is cooked.
3) Garnish with chopped coriander; serve hot.

Sambar:
As another one of India’s vast repository of soups/liquid accompaniments, the Sambar is most famous (or notorious!) for its tough requirement of dozens of spices. The special aspect of sambar is its touch of tang, spice and its typical thin consistency that makes it easy to drink or dunk your dosa/chapatti. Though known as a South Indian soup with many ingredients, can also be consumed with rice to make a full meal.
